Ocean Shores is close enough to find a restaurant outside of the casino.
The Christmas/holiday buffet is wonderful though. The restaurant, Emily's, and the Friday night buffet has average food but seems a little overpriced. The casino area and bar are really smokey- I can hardly stand to be in there more than 10 minutes and my asthma kicks in. The repeat visits show that we generally like this place and the location. We always get an oceanview room and have caught some beautiful sunsets from our room. I get the best sleep ever here! The beds are comfortable they have blackout drapes as most casino hotels the rooms are pretty soundproof and we leave the window open for the sound of the ocean and turn on the fireplace. It's relatively close to Olympic National Park so if you're exploring the southwest/west side of the park, it's a reasonable drive. We like to get up early, grab a coffee from the coffee bar and walk on the beach. From the hotel/casino there is a boardwalk that leads right to the sand.
We've stayed here many times as a weekend getaway because:
